Risk control measures
- Fall protection in place before roof access
- Brace trusses as they are installed - never leave unsupported
- Stay clear of crane swing area during lifts
- Keep hands clear of saw blade
- Take regular water breaks
- Installation of guardrails and safety nets
- Ensuring stable work platforms
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Use of tool lanyards to prevent dropped objects
- Safe handling practices for structural components
- Continuous monitoring of structural integrity
- Identification and safe management of hazardous materials
